No regrets watching it (don't mind watching it again cause it's good!)

So why not hit to the cinema for some good movies !

Watched this yesterday, and it was really good ! Wreck it Ralph!

Overall the movie was really entertaining and prove animated movies are gooooood !

Movie: Fashion

Recently I watched an Indian-Hindi movie (obviously with english subtitles) called Fashion.
And boy it blew me away, far far away !
Great cast, high budget costumes, good looking actors and stunning looking actresses.

Don't think the poster does justice to the leads ! They were stunning in the movie !

Arjan Bajwa, the actor was good looking too *ahem* XD

Don't recall when I last watched hindi movies, I think it was last time on normal televisions where they air them on weekends with BM subtitle in primary school. This movie proves Hindi movies are good, am looking for more if available =D

My ratings: A good 5/5. LOVE ! LOVE ! LOVE !

ABOUT THE STORY

The center of the movie is an ambitious girl Meghna Mathur who wanted to become a super model and comes to Mumbai against with of her father from Chandigarh. Meghna then sees the reality beneath the glamour world and she is greeted into fashion world where she had to make compromises to climb the ladder of success. She becomes a supermodel while her success turns into arrogance and she had to sacrifice a lot including his boyfriend Manav, (Arjan Bajwa), her good friend Janet (Mugdha Godse) and she loses her respect too. Victim of her own success, she starts to see recession in her career but she is not the one to accept defeat so easily.

Not to mention the movie has awesome soundtracks ! 

I love the song though that scene comes steamy at  1:45 (I bet you're gonna view it cause I say that  HAHAH)

Frozen Flower

Watched this show last night. One word: Gay.

*warning spoilers ahead*

When I first found this movie, the trailer looks so epic - it made me think of movies like The Banquet.
For a person who loves war, royal kingdom and history mix of movies, I wanted to watch this movie!
After finishing my work, I wanted to relax and spend 2 hours plus watching this movie.



And not to mention, the actors was so oh-la-la good looking,
and the actress was from the drama, Jumong which I used to watch it a couple of years back.
So i figured, yea why not?

Summary of the movie:

• King has this group of bodyguards, the chief is someone who grew up together with the King.
• Note he follows the King everywhere (common since he is a bodyguard)
• Chief sleeps with King too, then started kissing (ok, confirm gay)
• King is pushed to have babies after 10 years with the Queen
• King cannot have kids, summonds the gay Chief partner to serve the Queen instead.
• Gay Chief reluctantly says yes ... 
• Gay Chief falls in love with Queen
• King founds out Chief and Queen are meeting up despite not being summond.
• King is very angry, crucified the Chief
• Queen become pregnent eventually,
• Gay Chief escaped prison with the help of The Queen, Queen didn't tag along
• Gay Chief feels dissapointed, guards and maids that helped got their head cut and hang at the city wall with Queen not with him.
• Gay Chief sneaks into Palace to kill King
• King and Gay Chief had epic fight, they fight like a man
• All die in the end

The love plot,I must say was pretty good,
being a King who really love the Chief -- gave the best to him and hot Chief turning from gay to straight.

Some scenes I don't get:

• They have baby dance. To pray the King bears a child. wth? funny XD
• The King can actually sing well, performing in banquets LOL

My personal ratings 6/10. 

Note there are 18SX scenes here (duh, gay and straight relationship, what do you expect?)

After watching this movie, I feel gay. Is like the Asian Brokeback Moutain but is equally gay. 

But I do admit it's quite a sad movie. Nowadays, I don't see much happy ending shows.

Dramas are getting too realistic or too sad LOL

On a happier note, the movie features beautiful looking actors (I hope they are not gay in real life)

Arent' they charming? It's amazing how they could transform into gay characters with the long hair.
Not forgetting Song Ji-Hyo is inside too

Watched this movie during the weekends. Pretty good chinese movie.

Holidays 101

SY : Hey brb awhile ~!
LiHuey : Don't tell me you're going to study again?
SY : Wrong ! Just heading back to clean up my room.
I have NOTHING to study ..NOTHING hahahaha

Boy it feels so good saying that =D
But it won't last long. Just next week marks the end of my holidays.
The 2 weeks + holidays is really short
and another semester is starting.
This time P1, P2, P3 is gonna be challenging. *gulps*

Overall pretty happy at it. Classes just from Monday to Thursday,
with monday only having 3 hours of class which means Friday to Monday
literally I'm off =D *thumbs up*

Back to my holidays, Been going out literally everyday.
Wallet is burning up fast, so I doubt I'll be going out already anytime soon.
Got the things I want for my holidays =)

After having a nice dinner with my college buddies right after finals,
and celebrating ka-yee's birthday the next day -
Met up with my babes (lolx) for lunch and movie



The dim sum here in yau's place is really big although
it's a little more expensive than usual coffee shops
but I think it's worth it =)

After 10 years they have a sequel (why so longggg)
And I was really LOL because Ekin & Aaron are 10 years older already
They still look good no doubt just the ending is a little noob
with the effects a little resembling 300.
A lot of people said it suck big time but I think it was alright.
I have a thing for asian movies so I'm cool with it.

I wanted to watch this right after finals ended
but Yee Chien made plans with her sister so movie cancelled.
Jenny had tickets won from the radio station and contacted me the morning itself.
Rush like no tomorrow to curve and run there from Ikea.
Thank god the movie started later than expected.

And the movie was goooooood
Princess enjoyed it very much & I will not kiss a frog still after the movie.

Because it was screening right before my finals,
It's either I couldn't find friends to fit into the screenings after finals,
(because they were only like 4 screenings a day)
Downloaded 1.5 GB New Moon. Sadly, it was really really really boring.
Didn't like it despite the Hot Edward Cullen & Jacob inside.

Too cheesy lines for me. I got disgusted XD

Lots of killing, lots of stabbing with some funny scenes too =)
I looooooove the show so go watch it in the cinemas ~!

Just one more week of holidays , Damn - this holiday is really short ~!

Highschool Gathering 27-6-2009

One thing I like to do during the holidays,
Is to spend quality time with my highschool friends.
Surely there is shopping outings with the girls,
but definitely a proper gathering with everyone.
It's definitely the only time I could hang out without exams.studies in mind.

Since ACCA & A-level Students were on holiday,
perfect timing for gathering ..
Been planning this for quite sometime with Jia Jun.
At first when listing all the names down, there was 32 names lolx
But later due to swine flu, some other courses still going on, form 6 having school.
We rested for 14 people instead.

Thank you all for coming =)

At first it was suppose to be a BBQ party but changed due to some unavoidable reasons.
So Piramid was the perfect location since it's near (was suppose to be 1u)
movie + lunch

And what's a great gathering without an awesome movie !

Finally after waiting at the line for 45 minutes to get the tickets the day before,
Watching a full house cinema nearly 200 people inside,
(next cinema room too was equally packed) this show was no doubt money's worth.

My personal ratings around 9.5/10 (somehow I find something still missing)
But I totally love the show still. It's filled with so much action & comedy.
And the crowd was laughing together & if some jokes were so funny
- the crowd would give applause.

And for the first time watching in cinema,
it was the first when the crowd gave a loud applause when the movie ended.
Talking about support baby !

SY : Ah, it's gonna be a Transformers 3.
Zarul : In 2 years time..
Kishen : Organize another gathering again .. every gathering we watch one sequal.

I think she stole the spotlight a little against Sam Wicky wicky !
Probably prettier & sexier than Angelina Jolie.

After F6 today which was our last day of college,
everyone is wishing Happy Chinese New Year in advance,
you feel the energy .. the celebration .. the holidays !

Went Times Square today with my fellow college buddies,
Hazel-Chien-Jenny-WeiHao-TeikWei-KiangPeng-ChongYeow
Half took the KTM/Monorail while half went by car LOL

Bought tickets first when we reached and boy it was harsh.
The worker at cinema was so rude I could't believe it.

We were getting the tickets for Red Cliff2. When we show our student card,
cause we can either show our Sunway Student card or ACCA student card.
So the new Sunway card isn't out but some show the Sunway card some show the ACCA card
*we have both btw* My god the indian dude return the sunway card and said only those ACCA card will have the student price saying those can't be used. So the others took out their ACCA card instead now lor .

Wah the indian fellow was like I won't accept it !
Why?
You didn't show me in the first place ?

It's my power to decide. You know who am I ?
I can say you're a "fake student" You're trying to fool me !

can everyone say wtf is wrong with u ?

So later Kiang Peng tried explaning to him cause
the ACCA card is the professional prog.card and the sunway is the college card
But both are showing we are students .
and he said ?
wah u professional is it .. then I also professional la ! can everyone say haha
good one ! another time , wtf is wrong with u ?
and he concluded "Now I can say all of you are fake students trying to fool me"
OMG wtf is wrong with you ?

And we got pissed off we left the counter & Chien told us there is another counter downstairs.
Even Kiang Peng was so pissed off.
Yee Chien tried talking to him nicely, wah got scolding back from him also.
Seriously if we weren't rushing for time, all of us will call the manager to complain.
I mean he did it loudly infront of everyone. I tell u all eyes were on us.
WTF ?

And you know where the ironic part of the story? When we went downstairs,
we did the exact same thing like upstairs, some show sunway some show college card.
And the worker there issued the tickets and said "Enjoy your movie" with a smile.
Ok .. 2 different way of treating customers ?

I mean I've been going to the cinema for many years,
but this is the first time I've ever since a cinema worker so rude before.

then we were having lunch someplace then had an hour to walk around with the girls
Wah times square quite a nice place to shop for clothes. LOL
Reasonable prices. The jackets were like around rm20- RM40.
If I didn't collect so many jackets before, all this are pretty good buy.
Didn't get anything. Usually when I buy things, I'll only buy it when I love it at first sight
Then I'll check the price then I'll try it on , etc
So yea. .today no shopping = save money !

Yea so despite all the havoc , I have to say "I LOVE THE SHOW"
enjoyed it really much .Won't tell anything =I, It's a new show.
I don't wanna be a spoiler for your CNY movie ya.
The movie was full of fights,, strategies, friendship, breathtaking scenery
*kp say it's like screensaver wallapaper* LOL
BigBro liked the Part 1 better but I love both. Good movie ! =D

The Other Boleyn Girl

Despite having exams pretty pretty soon, (next week)
Couldn't resist to watch this movie.
The trailor which I watched in the cinema not long ago had attracted me to watch this movie.
Somehow I really like watching this kind of ancient england history movies.

And I actually did some research regarding them .. wikipedia

1. King Henry has 6 wives. Anne Boleyn was his 2nd
2. Anne Boleyn was the first queen ever executed in public
   
3. It was believed that Mary's son resembles King Henry (something that nobody could confirm till today)
4. They believed that Mary was the elder sister
5. Anne Boleyn gave birth to Elizabeth that ruled England for many years ..
6. Elizabeth was named after King Henry's mother
