Review: NYX Round lipstick, NYX Megashine Lipgloss

Recently via my college friend Germaine, bought some NYX Cosmetics online. First time experimenting with online shopping which is something I never tried before. This one turn out lovely. Seller was replying my enquiries quickly (in less than 12 hours). After payment, the goods came 2 days later. Think it might had been even earlier if it wasn't for the rain. Thumbs up to the seller, I'm very satisfied =D

Was looking for lipsticks and lip gloss. And NYX has so many to choose from.

Note: the shades in the website may differ from the real colour. Do google image, preferably blog reviews where you can see the actual colour =)

lying down are NYX Megashine Lipgloss

My usual lipgloss are from SilkyGirl, which are affordable. Per tube is less than RM10 and you can use it for quite sometime. Only thing I don't like about the product is it tends to fade away quite fast and sometimes wearing or not wearing it doesn't make a difference unless you're talking about those killer pink colours!

So there came the tryout for NYX Megashine Lipgloss ! (per bottle: RM20)

Their cover has a cute ribbon, kawaii !

(I am currently using NYX Megashine Lipgloss LG129 : Beige )

Reasons TO get this product:

• The gloss sticks well on the lips, you could feel the volume on your lips like wearing a lipstick itself. Long-lasting
• When applying, theres a candy scent coming out. Smells nice XD
• This is one hot favourite colour, it brightens up the lips. Something not over the top !

Reasons NOT to get this product:

• Name can be deceiving, beige ? this is so pink !
• RM20 for that bottle ? there's another line from NYX for half the price ! (Although this is their signature one, your choice)

(I am currently using NYX Megashine Lipgloss 149: Candy Shop)

Reasons TO get this product:

• Creates a very settle natural look. Ideal for days where you just wanna keep a low profile but don't wanna look like a wake-up zombie !
• Makes the lips pop baby pop !
• Easy application

Reasons NOT to get this product:

• (Same as above)

Sometimes a girl just need strong colours for those days.

Not for the weak!

Femme is actually a orange-red colour tone (more orange in real)

Louisiana on the other hand is a bright pink tone.

Reasons TO get this product:

• Colour pops out, great to bright the place especially when you're wearing dark colours or going for a night/formal event. Looks great in pictures *winks*
• Try looking at the colour palette, there is just so many to choose from - you'll get lost ! seriously ...
• You don't need a lipgloss, there's a layer of shine for you !
• It's so cheap. RM10 per stick ! tell me where can you find it *rolls eyes*

Reasons NOT to get this product

• Again the colour in the website palette may differ slightly from the real thing. Do google image some blog reviews. What may seem strong/light on the lipstick itself differs upon application on lips.
• May be improve with a lipbrush application (if you're not in a rush)

Didn't take the one on Louisiana but it's a strong smoking pink *sexy*

So I think my lip collection set is officially done.

4 new lipstick colours + 2 new lipgloss !

And hopefully my make-up box ala treasure box has room for all this new products! All I need to perfect the entire set is a set of quality brushes, fake eyelashes and face powder. This calls for savings in the piggy bank, rawr !

Penang Trip Day 1

Finally we're here in Penang, which was something we would never imagine it being successful. Everytime there was something to do with 'overnight' trips, it would mean parents would not approve or cost being too high. This holiday trip definitely has been a shocker but we managed to do it and budget out the trips (went during off-peak period) and the trip came to about RM300+.

First, Special thanks to:

• Jenny (negotiating and settlement of accommodation and transport)
• Wei Hao (itenary and plans)
• Kai Li (spending time and showing us around)

So literally 20+ of us headed off together to Penang, of all movies we brought 72 Tenants of Prosperity - talk about CNY movies being ever good. *thumbs up for Jacky Cheung*

First thing when we reached Penang after a 5 hour+ bus ride, FOOD !

Next up, the Fort Cornwallis area.

(though we were melting under the sun before it rained !)

As you can see there was only 8 girls among the gang !

Not long later, rain ==" Beach plan was deferred.

Ended up visiting the ever talked-about Toy Museum.

My Barbie collection and Jenny's Snoopy collection needs to be kept aside.

We lost out badly lol

So after the visit, plan changed. Sky was back to normal, cooling.

Perfect time for the beach!

Budak-budak kecil masuk main air, hati-hati !

You gotta look up high, look up at the sky !

Horse ridding, Para-sailing - you name it.

Boys tried, girls tried.

After that when the sky turned dark, headed over to Seafood dinner.

Pretty good place to eat if your wallet is full but food was excellent no doubt *drools*

After that, headed over to our apartment. Chilled there awhile till it hit 12 !

Know what's gonna happen, it's the 29 June *cough* my birthday XD

Jenny came in with a birthday cake. Yesh of all cakes, it has BANANA ! hahahahha

My house has been known to have lots of banana tree till one day,

one friend asked if I'm a banana supplier

(when I gave Sean 3 combs of banana to eat !)

We go everywhere in large numbers till one group photo can't fit all !

haha Pretty funky birthday outstation with group of wacky friends !

Later girls stayed at the apartment to chat while all the guys left the place to drink outside. Tiring day 1 actually, all went to bed around 2 + in da morning ready for day 2

Quickies: Blue nails are hot ! [Etude House Nail Polish]

Recently there's been a nail colouring fever going on ..

Hazel's in maroon ..

Jenny's in sweet pink ..

Me? ever changing colour ever week !

During the holidays, Jenny gave me a bottle of nail polish.

Of all colours BLUE !

Very skepetical on such colours @@ it's really wild.

On Monday tried it on after failing to paint my nails in purple!

Will try it on next week with Kelly =)

So far been using Elianto but Etude House nail polish turns out very smooth on application. This colour only requires one layer application for such colour. Excellent ! very satisifed , thanks J !
