Mix It Up!

Ohh since the holiday is on the run, why not find time to colour some nails?
Learned this technique of mixing two colours together with a sponge online.
Blending both my purple shades of nail polish colour together.
Though a bit messy but looks cool.
Will re-attempt again with pink shades but softer on the sponge blending =D

The Body Shop Fan !

I remembered my first bottle being a birthday present gift set courtesy of my highschool friend, Kishen =)
Since then, I have only save the use of the body shower for occasions (where you wish to smell nice)
And since I've started working and able to catch 50% sales, this has been my all time favourite !

The Jasmin flavour has been with me since college (this is my 2nd bottle already),
The cherry blossom from a giftset by my girlfriends for my 21st birthday present
  with the moringa purchases in a set during sales time which I have yet and await to open ;)

So in summary, you can say I'm really into flower scent ;)
 ...... and noooooo I do not smell ! *grumpy face*

New products for the new year !

• Rimmel Volume x10 Mascara Flash
• Natio High Glodd Mosturizing Liquid Lipstick
• Natio Lip Colour - Soul 540
• Natio Nail Colour

Now Rimmel's mascara really does wonders, a layer of it already makes a different.
  Could imagine the effect with eyeliner and proper curling on it ! Too lazy to try it in the photo hehe

I haven really hear Natio till now. It's an Australian product so I doubt you can find them in Malaysia. Loving the lipstick , something not so strong as my usuals but it makes a presence when applied =)
















Though, Revlon ColourBurst lipgloss is tempting,
     cravings to get a bottle but there's like NYX and Natio to supply me for a year =/
    Saw the real product in the nearby pharmacy, ohh the colour just POPs,
    But costing rm30+ a bottle got me thinking twice ...
        ohhh well maybe end of the year once my NYX is all used up & when I feel richer XD

In2It Waterproof Eye Colour Set

Recently I've been looking for a purple eyeshadow pallet. I'm pretty bored with the blue one I had since secondary school. Found those in 10 colour set, but it's pretty bulky to bring them around in your handbag. Found this set from In2it. This one is in 08 Royale, pretty strong pallet for purple lovers =D

Very intense purple effect right? XD
Could be durable for day with a lighter blend into it =)
Pretty satisfied with the outcome of it ..

About the product

Pros:

• Small package
• Has a mirror 
• Colour in shades of purple and only purple (Usually some pallet mix purple with blue, pink or brown shades)
• Affordable (especially now with sales)

Cons:

• The middle colour tone has yet to take my priority when it comes to blending
• Takes time to blend to my satisfaction

Body 101: Finding The Perfect Fit

Discomfort. Jiggling. Tingling in the arms. Bad posture. Cups that slip. These are just a few of the symptoms that you’re wearing the wrong bra size! And don’t be surprised if you are because it’s a fact that 80% of women wear bras that don’t fit. It’s no wonder too, since the average woman wears six different bra sizes throughout her life. 

Getting fitted well has its many perks. (No pun intended!) When wearing the right fitting bra, we feel comfortable and beautiful, sexy and confident. Our attributes are accentuated and trouble areas concealed. Posture is improved along with the health of breast tissue. 

So here are some tips on finding your perfect fit, but keep in mind that measuring your bra size is not an exact science. Sizes may vary with different cup shapes and fit. Once you’ve gotten your basic measurements, it’s always best to hit the store and do what we love most: Shop and try them on until we find the right one! 

Step One: Measure your band size 

1. Wear your best fitting unlined or thinly lined bra. 
2. Use a soft measuring tape to measure around your rib cage just beneath the bust. Expel all your air, make sure the tape is parallel to the ground, and take your measurement in inches. 
3. Round all fractional measurements to the nearest whole number. 
4. If the measurement is even, add 4”. If the measurement is odd, add 5”.

Step Two: Measure your cup size

1. Stand straight, arms at your side, and measure the fullest part of your bust. Make sure the measuring tape is parallel to the ground and not binding. 
2. Round all fractional measurements to the nearest whole number. 

Step Three: Calculate Your Bra Size

Subtract your band measurement from your cup measurement. 

Less than 1 inch = AA cup

1 inch = A cup

2 inches = B cup

3 inches = C cup

4 inches = D cup

5 inches = DD cup (E)

6 inches = DDD cup (F)

7 inches = DDDD cup (G)

Let's put a mask on that face ! Piak!~!~

Recently got my hands on some mask, do it once a week (at least I try to every week if I remember)
There's hair treatment and mask day every Thursday, I do look forward for it. Relaxing y'all

Compared with the previous mask I tried on ,
this two was almost half the priced and you could use it twice ! Double the trio !

 First off, the Nivea Refreshing Moisture Mask 

(There's also the honey version, etc)

Pros:  After wash, the face was fresh, very fresh. It has the cooling effect and you feel good!

Cons: It was blue, I was a light-blue avatar like face ! OMG I don't dare to post the photo here LOL Also, I didn't find the pulling tight effect I had after doing the mask. I find Nivea products tend to have a fresh effect but very mild. Could had been stronger instead.

Next off, the Garnier Light Peel-off mask

 The full mask was the one recommended by CLEO as the best mask.

but I tried the self-application one. This one was transparent yellow in colour upon application. 

The smell was pleasant and suited me well. It felt tight towards the end.

Pros: Currently my favourite among all 3 mask I tried, love the effect after wash.

Face felt fresh and lifted (indirectly) Works better if you leave it longer. 

Worth the money for two application. It's easy and simple to apply.

Cons: As it's tight at the end when it dries up, it's difficult to remove.

You need a through wash on your face to remove but the effect is still great after wash!

Note that all this all cream where you applied all over your face, and not the mask 

(Explains why it's half the price) but I do find them more effective as it covers your face in more detail compared to the mask. 101% more effective in my opinion. I tend to prefer the self-application though its more messy. Ohh well my personal opinion.

I should try cutting cucumbers too and place it on my eyes.

Maybe it can remove the black lines and panda-look

Etude House's Nail Polish

Changed my nail colour, this time it's in blue ! 

My second time using this bottle now.

Pros

• Easy application, for this colour - one layer was needed
• Colour stands out easily,
• brush was soft thus making the colour going evenly in all areas 
• Colour is really young, a little California Girl inspired =D

Cons

• It may be better to apply another layer, but it may turn really 'dark blue' tone 
• Smaller bottle compared with other brands and more pricey too.

Recently I've been browsing many websites, just the urge to get some eyeshadow pallets

(with no particular reason why) NYX 10 Colour Pallette and Makeup Set looks so tempting Ahhh !
ended up just changing to another URL instead. Aih, waste money ! SAY NO!

I can't seem to finish my eyeshadow. My blue shades has been with me since Form 2. LOL

The magazines seem to be promoting brown shades lately, 

took up my old brown set and the nude colour from Benefit. 

Drop some thick mascara and light eyeliner, and tada !

Foot Comfort to the rescue ~!

I was hanging around in the mall, those days where you have nothing to buy

But you're just there for the air-cond and to take things off my mind from studies/work. 

I was at the stockings corner and I found this few handy stuff for girls.

I think they are meant for dancing but they make good walking padding.

Prevents our feet directly with the shoe and prevents your feet from the pressure and blisters.

If you're a girl with heels, you know what I'm talking about ! 

Maybe cause I'm always walking fast, walking in heels is never comfy. Sakit!

But there are events where you just can't wear flats or sport shoe especially in a dress/skirt!

Nothing like comfy walking shoes or sport shoes though! BEST !

I did put it to the test, 

true enough the feet didn't hurt after wearing if for an event with my 3.5 inch heels !

These stockings are available in any departmental stores,

ranging from RM7.90 to RM9.90 depending on your shoe design.

Alright now I know these things existed for years, 

but somehow nobody had the courtesy to tell me that XD

You girls just walk in your heels like that. .. lol

After cooling my nails for 2 weeks, it's time for repainting.

I think The Face Shop is the only shop selling this colour nail polish.

Liese Hair Cocktail

Been noticing this product due to the heavy advertising in CLEO,

decided to get it that day. And since there's a added voucher, bought it at a bargain.

Double the motivation to try ? XD 

I bought it at my local pharmacy store at approximately RM25 

(there was a 15% discount added on too)

There are two flavors, mine in mango (i.e. my favourite fruit)

Shake the bottle up, it will turn milky colour.

Then mix it on your hand, and apply it gently on your hair.

Works pretty well for me I must say, I have crappy hair.

Some days when you're busy - things like these do come handy =)

Nope I have straight hair but it ends up messy and crappy all the time, erggh !

I had to change my singlet to see the after effect clearly in the photo XD
I think you should be able to see the changes.

Do recommended it to all the busy girls out there.

This is one pretty useful styling product to anti-freeze the bad hair days away

Review: NIVEA Double Action Whitening Mask

Never tried doing mask before so this is surely the first time,
one word: fun !
Now I get why girls do mask . . .

Took the mask, after a long day - splash it on my face !



The mask is wet, filled with all its relevant ingredients inside.
Isn't a need for you to self apply like those tube mask I've seen before.
Just pealed them gently (cause they come folded),
and place them gently on your face. Relax for 15 - 20 minutes.

After that peal it off, squeeze the essence all over your face.
Wash it off, and no doubt you could feel the cooling effect.
That essence of freshness on your face, feels really really good.
Tired ? feel crappy? stressed up? You need to do mask lol



Well, here's the finishing effect.
No makeup ! No editing ! Nothing !
I doubt you'll see the instance effect or anything since it's the first time.
Plus my face is covered with pimples at the moment (it's that time of the month + exam is coming next week + lack of sleep.

Will I try it again? why not ! =D

Purple Nails

My life?
Waking up at 6+ in the morning,
heading to college for classes and work at the computer after that.
After dinner, literally tired. Imagine sleeping at 10pm.
That's early, at least for me ! XD

Not forgetting Progress Test 1 is coming soon followed by results in Aug.
Guess we have to take things one step at the time, aite?

Pros: Colour is rare to find. Try other brands, can't find this purple.

Review: Fake eyelashes

Damn, her eyelashes ! Look how long they are ...
wait a minute, are they natural ?
Hell no ! hahahahahha

No doubt mascara is so much easier but I had always wanted to try these 'light butterflies' on my eyes. After chatting with my friend Germaine, went to SASA and bought a pair of eyelashes (it cost me RM10). There are ranges - cheap ones to expensive but maybe you should experiment with one first before deciding to invest in one permanently !

My original lashes,
My biggest problem is I have small eyes (well it looks like fish eye here) When applying mascara, I tend to notice only those in the mid-centers will extent, not much effect to the sides. Creates an uneven effect which frustrates me a lot !

For the eyelashes tutorial, didn't do it myself.
It is difficult to put them on already, taking photos at the same time. Mere impossible. Found some great videos online. This one helped a lot !




Few tips personally from me:

1) Do the eyelashes first - then comes the eyeshadow and eye lining if u want
2) Apply mascara too on the fake lashes & bottom lashes to increase boost!
3) Have plenty of cotton buds in case u create some mess and clean it instantly !
4) To cover up some excessive glu on your eyes,
you can apply a layer of liquid eyeliner to blend.
5) There are two types of glu, one white and black type.
Pick the black one,
at least when it's on your eyes - looks like liquid eyeliner and not well, glu !

The tools that I used:

- Fake lashes (bought from Sasa)
- Doll Lash Black Glu
- In2it blue eyeshadow shades
- MAC Paintpot Peintures (as my base coat)
- ZA Eyeliner Pencil
- Tweezer to help position the lashes on eyes (hand is easier though)
- Cotton buds







So it's the before and after effect of the eyelashes.
It can be lovely for occasions,
buy a pair at your nearby stores and try it out yourself =D
