Movie: Fashion

Recently I watched an Indian-Hindi movie (obviously with english subtitles) called Fashion.
And boy it blew me away, far far away !
Great cast, high budget costumes, good looking actors and stunning looking actresses.

Don't think the poster does justice to the leads ! They were stunning in the movie !

Arjan Bajwa, the actor was good looking too *ahem* XD

Don't recall when I last watched hindi movies, I think it was last time on normal televisions where they air them on weekends with BM subtitle in primary school. This movie proves Hindi movies are good, am looking for more if available =D

My ratings: A good 5/5. LOVE ! LOVE ! LOVE !

ABOUT THE STORY

The center of the movie is an ambitious girl Meghna Mathur who wanted to become a super model and comes to Mumbai against with of her father from Chandigarh. Meghna then sees the reality beneath the glamour world and she is greeted into fashion world where she had to make compromises to climb the ladder of success. She becomes a supermodel while her success turns into arrogance and she had to sacrifice a lot including his boyfriend Manav, (Arjan Bajwa), her good friend Janet (Mugdha Godse) and she loses her respect too. Victim of her own success, she starts to see recession in her career but she is not the one to accept defeat so easily.

Not to mention the movie has awesome soundtracks ! 

I love the song though that scene comes steamy at  1:45 (I bet you're gonna view it cause I say that  HAHAH)

Nails in Sassy Pink

(Nails right after painting, haven even clean the side mess but got excited to take a snapshot of it)

My nails before I removed them from interview. Sassy Pink ! I used In2It nail Polish for this =)
Love the colour, hate the smell !

This was only one layer so you can imagine how easy the application was . Very smooth !
     Something I've tried, after it was done I emerged the fingers in cold water.
     Read it from the magazine and it kinda speeds up the drying. Try it =D

The nails with and without flash light ...
   Though the nails was heavily criticized by the guys.
   Don't think this colour is suitable for work. So now it's in RED for the holidays XD
  Maybe some skin/earth tone when it works. Somehow don't like the nails being colourless.

Found this video given by Jenny, didn't know this effect. 

It looks fun, something I don't mind trying after exam =D

Oxford Brookes University - Research and Analysis Project (RAP)

Finally after so many hiccups on my OBU, the official letter has arrived.
What really happen was the OBU payment didn't get through, so my results was withhold till the next payment was made. Scard the hell out of me, was I into so plagarism act or something?

Believe me, it was hell depressing seeing everyone got the result in class and mine missing in action.
Family called, friends called and my mentor called.

Glad I took things into my hand, personally contact the personnel in UK and got it done.
The letter arrived within 2 weeks of contact with the personnel.
I waited for months using my college's personnel to get it done.

Tips from SY for OBU Students 

1. Don't bother figuring out how to do the reference part. Just use the generator by my friend, Kar Hoe http://obu.karhoe.net/ Saves up all your trouble and time. 
2. Start your thesis early. I mean, real early ! By the time you do the amendments completely, it's almost close to your MOCK or by then your finals. 
3. Don't play a fool in your fundamental papers. They determine which class you're in. 
4. Remember to do your Professional Ethics Module on ACCA's site. 
5. Choose the company you are familiar with or at least with its products. Its hard to kick-start when you have no idea what you're doing. 
6. Have a good balance of doing this thesis as well as studying for your exams. I found that hard to balance when I was doing P1, P2 and P3 + OBU. Hardcore suicidal ! Time management is a key element ! 
7. Make sure each part of your thesis links up and makes sense.

It's epic that you can't find outside, not even in Italianese , not even close to this goodness !
Serve with half a salmon with cream mushroom, this would definitely be my all-time favourite!
No doubt bro's bacon spaghetti and stirred-fried chicken  spaghetti! was also THUMBS UP !

Awesome seafood dinner the other day ..

Crabs were life crabs my dad bought nearby, all 5 of them.
Believe or not, we put them into the sink in the early morning to cook for dinner.
In the midst of afternoon, 2 went missing.
Did my dogs ate it ? Did it sink into the drain ?
Ransacked the entire kitchen, no crab crab to be seen.
Ended up Crab went to watch CNN at the TV area LOL

The prawns on the other hand (didn't ran away lol) were sea prawns,
so the level of sweetness compared to normal prawns was EPIC
Awesome =D

I'm waiting for the next crab session, looking forward !

World Congress of Accountants (WCOA) 2010

As part of the Sunway ACCA class reps,
I was invited alongside my other class-reps and prize winners to the World Congress of Accountants (WCOA) 2010 held at KLCC last Thursday.

At one of the halls where you could find literally majority of the financial courses booth 

(ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA, and the list goes on and on)

Looking at the crowd, you could see we look like 'foreigners' more than the locals.
People from Indonesia, Nigeria, Korea, UK, you name it !

Indeed a global event,
We didn't get into the main hall but instead to Plenary 4.
Feels weird, it's like we were watching live on Astro rather than in the event. Hmmm?

I guess I got some ideas to write about P5's current issue from this event =D

P/s: No name card, couldn't stand a chance for Ipad.. At least there was thumbdrives for us ? hehe

Firm Visit @ PWC

I'll be wearing almost the same thing as I only have two formal dresses,
Waiting for end year sale where I can get the bulk of my office wear for a fraction of the original price !
I think pants and shirt will come into the picture !

I do feel all grown up in this attires, and it's =O to see my friends all in formal too.

Discomfort. Jiggling. Tingling in the arms. Bad posture. Cups that slip. These are just a few of the symptoms that you’re wearing the wrong bra size! And don’t be surprised if you are because it’s a fact that 80% of women wear bras that don’t fit. It’s no wonder too, since the average woman wears six different bra sizes throughout her life. 

Getting fitted well has its many perks. (No pun intended!) When wearing the right fitting bra, we feel comfortable and beautiful, sexy and confident. Our attributes are accentuated and trouble areas concealed. Posture is improved along with the health of breast tissue. 

So here are some tips on finding your perfect fit, but keep in mind that measuring your bra size is not an exact science. Sizes may vary with different cup shapes and fit. Once you’ve gotten your basic measurements, it’s always best to hit the store and do what we love most: Shop and try them on until we find the right one! 

Step One: Measure your band size 

1. Wear your best fitting unlined or thinly lined bra. 
2. Use a soft measuring tape to measure around your rib cage just beneath the bust. Expel all your air, make sure the tape is parallel to the ground, and take your measurement in inches. 
3. Round all fractional measurements to the nearest whole number. 
4. If the measurement is even, add 4”. If the measurement is odd, add 5”.

Step Two: Measure your cup size

1. Stand straight, arms at your side, and measure the fullest part of your bust. Make sure the measuring tape is parallel to the ground and not binding. 
2. Round all fractional measurements to the nearest whole number. 

Step Three: Calculate Your Bra Size

Subtract your band measurement from your cup measurement. 

Less than 1 inch = AA cup

1 inch = A cup

2 inches = B cup

3 inches = C cup

4 inches = D cup

5 inches = DD cup (E)

6 inches = DDD cup (F)

7 inches = DDDD cup (G)
