Review: NIVEA Double Action Whitening Mask

Never tried doing mask before so this is surely the first time,
one word: fun !

Currently in Watson, there is a promotion on spending RM20 and above - you'll get a free mask from Nivea worth around (RM7-9, depending if you're getting it on a sales).


Took the mask, after a long day - splash it on my face !



The mask is wet, filled with all its relevant ingredients inside.
Isn't a need for you to self apply like those tube mask I've seen before.
Just pealed them gently (cause they come folded),
and place them gently on your face. Relax for 15 - 20 minutes.

After that peal it off, squeeze the essence all over your face.
Wash it off, and no doubt you could feel the cooling effect.
That essence of freshness on your face, feels really really good.
Tired ? feel crappy? stressed up? You need to do mask lol



Well, here's the finishing effect.
No makeup ! No editing ! Nothing !
I doubt you'll see the instance effect or anything since it's the first time.
Plus my face is covered with pimples at the moment (it's that time of the month + exam is coming next week + lack of sleep.

Will I try it again? why not ! =D

Li Huey came back from Australia for the holidays !
Since she had cravings for Steamboat,a Saturday night plan with my girls!

Called all our usual girlfriends out and headed over to steamboat !

I must say as sad as it may sound,
this was the first time eating steamboat outside.
Not that I hate it, I actually love steamboat ! Just usually I do it at home where my mum gets real solid meat. Different family members prefer different sort of meat. The end result ? a super tasty sweet soup base XD

and ohhh ya ONE MORE THING ! Everytime my college friends had plans to go steamboat, I'm either down with a bad diarrhea, having bad flu or just recovered from a bad food poisoning. So I'm not really prepared for steamboat. This time, no jinx! I'm in good shape =D

Pretty excited dining out, initially to Yuen but many said it was overrated. Headed over there, packed with people and there were tons of people waiting. You could see they were waiting since forever. Gave up for Yuen, went the opposite to 'Chong Qing'. Friends ate here before gave good feedback so I didn't mind. Somehow just the pack crowded environment with tons of people waiting outside in Yuen really turns me off,

well at least for me !

Pros eating here: You can talk, laugh and sing as loud as you can !
Great way of gathering with old friends =)

Cons eating here: Mosquito bite,
my legs OMG lol next time take the inside table!

Penang Trip Day 3

Last day for our Penang trip before leaving back to KL.

Went to collect our Him Heung's 'Tau sia pia' and head over to our last destination,

KEK LOK SI !

Heard it looks great during the Chinese new year festival, all lighted at night !
